Pride Service 2026
Everyone is Welcome
For many within the LGBTQ+ community, experiences with religion have left deep wounds, marked by conditional acceptance or outright judgment. At the Episcopal Church of All Saints, we are committed to being a sanctuary for healing. We firmly believe that your sexual orientation and gender identity are beautiful reflections of the image of God and wonderfully made.
Bring your history, your doubts, and your true self to our Special Pride Service. When we say, "All Saints," we mean all.
Date: Sunday, June 14, 2026
Time: 1:30 PM ET
Location: Episcopal Church of All Saints - Indianapolis
Address: 1559 Central Avenue, Indianapolis
Reception: Immediately after the service, please join us in the nave for a light meal and refreshments as we gather in community to connect and celebrate the living history we share.
What to Expect:
A Service of Living History
History, music, and Beauty
During this Special Pride Service, our music program will feature "Jesus, Son of Mary," a deeply moving piece composed by Fr. Don Melvin, whose partner—our late Rector Fr. Wayne Hanson—contributed deeply to our musical heritage.
Remembering Those we have lost
We will celebrate the Holy Eucharist using our historic AIDS Chalice commissioned by our late Rector, Fr. Wayne Hanson, and adorned with jewels from an anonymous donor to honor those lost to the AIDS epidemic.
A blessing for new AIDS Memorial quilt
Witness Fr. Stephen officially bless a new memorial panel for local LGBTQ+ icon Coby Palmer as All Saints presents it to the National AIDS Memorial Quilt Foundation, and following the liturgy, view this tribute in the nave alongside four multi-panel displays on loan from the National AIDS Memorial Quilt Foundation.
A special Reflection
We are deeply honored to welcome Jenni White, Founding Executive Director of Trinity Haven, to our Special Pride Service. As the leader of Indiana's first and only housing program dedicated specifically to supporting LGBTQ+ young people facing housing instability and homelessness, Jenni brings an informed perspective on what it means to offer true sanctuary.
In place of a traditional sermon, she will offer special Reflections during the liturgy.
